LightTime has
developed a passive
semiconductor (CMOS) device that increases optical pulse rates up to
20x, scalable
to 100+ GHz. The
OPM can use fiber optic or CMOS fabricated waveguides and is highly
compatible
with silicon SOC architectures. This component can multiply
the output
of any optical pulse generator for applications in microprocessor and
telecommunications
optical clocking.
