LightTime’s OEM Products
Based on near-term market interest, LightTime has selected specific Alpha-Stage products and is carrying their development forward toward market-ready OEM final products.

LADAR: MEMScan
LightTime is creating a compact MEMS-based 3D real-time Ladar imaging camera.  The initial product design is for short ranges (<200 meters). The design’s main features are:            

  • Fast, real time 3D imaging (range and intensity)
  • Miniature system ~ 4 cu in, < 8 oz without batteries and converter
  • Low cost
  • Proprietary scanning design with undetectable scanning beam
  • Eye safe
  • Interface compatible with standard Ladar image processing systems

Optical Clocking: LightClock™
LightTime is prepared to supply passively modelocked semiconductor lasers designed for high volume/low cost production that generate high-speed (10-160+ GHz) optical pulses for use in high-speed computing, optical telecommunications, and more.



LightTime’s Alpha-Stage Products

Alpha-Stage products are pre-commercial products based on proprietary LightTime technologies, from which adaptive development for a commercial product can occur. Each alpha-stage product is somewhere along the continuum from concept to bench-top or prototype. LightTime offers its alpha-stage products by licensing them to third parties. LightTime will also assist in the licensee’s ongoing development and/or integration of the licensed alpha-stage product.

LADAR Technology
Unique optical solution that allows use of MEMS scanning mirrors in LADAR applications with wide-angle scanning and zoom. Directly enables miniaturization and cost reduction of LADAR systems. Scalable technology for both civilian and military applications.

Semiconductor Optical Pulse Generator
Passively modelocked semiconductor lasers designed for high volume/low cost production that produce high-speed (10-160+ GHz) optical pulses for use in high-speed computing, optical telecommunications, and more. .

MultiSourceLaser™ Network Lasers

Multiple wavelength semiconductor laser light source for data transport in DWDM telecommunications and future microprocessors.

GigaPulse™ Generator
Low-noise, low cost optical pulse engine based on fiber laser technology for applications in telecom, test & measurement, and R&D.  Tunable within specific ranges from 2.4-41 GHz.

GigaHertz Electronic Pulse Generator
Special circuitry that produces electronic pulses for high-performance applications allowing: 1) ps pulse widths at GigaHertz rates, 2) high power outputs, 3) variable pulse rep rates, 4) reliable single-pulse operation …all in a low cost, compact design.

Optical Pulse Multiplier™ (OPM™)
Passive semiconductor (CMOS) device that increases optical pulse rates up to 20x, scalable to 100+ GHz.

Modelocked Raman and Silicon Raman Lasers

CMOS compatible, passive modelocking of Raman lasers, including the latest “Silicon Raman” lasers.
