LightTime's GigaPulse™ optical
pulse generators are optical pulse engines for use in
Telecommunications, Test & Measurement, and R&D
applications. They utilize fiber laser technology with
a proprietary architecture.
GigaPulse™ Optical Pulse
Generators have:
- Tunable
outputs from 2.4-12 GHz or 37-41 GHz (other ranges
from 9-41 GHz are available).
- Output peak powers
that can be varied from 0 to over 40 mW.
- Polarized output.
- Wider pulse widths, inherently more
thermally and long-term stable operation, and excellent
SNR (signal-to-noise ratio).
- Lower cost / higher performance than
commercial products now in use.
